With the goal of championing the global competence of Filipino Nurses, OET and the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) recently launched their new partnership during the PNA National Annual Convention in Iloilo City.
“PNA’s vision as a professional association that advances the welfare and development of Filipino nurses around the world aligns perfectly with OET’s mission and values,” said Krizelle Kilicaslan, Regional Manager of OET Philippines. “OET strives to connect the world to better healthcare, and we’re thrilled to be assisting PNA with the advancement of local nurses and their education.”
Through this partnership, Filipino nurses will have access to OET's best-in-class language training and assessment programs, enhancing their communication skills and promoting enhanced patient care in the Philippines.
The partnership was celebrated at our recent 'Advancing Healthcare Communication in the Philippines: OET’s Role in Enabling Collaboration' event in Manila. PNA National President, Governor Melvin Miranda, served as the keynote speaker, sharing insights alongside healthcare industry leaders. Governor Elmer Bondoc, PNA’s Vice President for Programs and Development, contributed to the discussion on the importance of English proficiency in healthcare and innovations in healthcare education in the Philippines.
With this groundbreaking collaboration, OET and PNA continue to elevate the professional image of Filipino nurses, ensuring they are workplace-ready and equipped to meet the ever-evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
