New OET test venue opens in the UK
OET, the English language test for healthcare professionals, will be available at a new venue in the UK from the 21 March test. The new test venue will be managed by the University of Liverpool’s English Language Centre.
OET is the world’s only international English language test specifically for healthcare professionals who would like to work in an English-speaking environment. It provides assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – through test material designed to reflect real communication scenarios that candidates are likely to encounter in the healthcare workplace.
Mark Ingarfield, ELC Operations Director, said: “We are delighted to be launching OET, adding another influential language test to the English Language Centre’s portfolio. We are committed to working with the many businesses, educational institutions and medical organisations in the Liverpool City Region to help healthcare professionals achieve their goals”.
OET CEO, Sujata Stead, said she was delighted to be opening OET’s 25th test venue in the United Kingdom. “We now offer healthcare professionals in the UK a choice of 22 cities in which to take OET and are looking to expand this number even further”.
“I have no doubt that our candidates will have a very positive test-day experience with ELC,” she added.
