As we continue to deliver a reliable and user-friendly test experience for healthcare professionals, we’re excited to share the current updates we’ll be introducing to the OET Speaking test for the computer-based test.
From August, the OET Speaking test will be delivered at home via a new platform. This applies for all OET@Home® and soon, OET Test on Computer candidates.
What does this mean for you?
-
Formal email communications will be sent to candidates with an upcoming booking.
-
If you already have a booking and have received a Zoom link from us, you will continue to take the test on Zoom as planned. No action is required from you.
-
Any new or rescheduled bookings made after the new platform goes live will be taken on the new platform. You will receive a link and instructions via email. If you need to reschedule your test, please contact us directly.
-
There will be no change to the format or marking of the OET Speaking sub-test.
Why are we making this change?
-
The new platform offers a secure and user-friendly interface. It also simplifies the ID verification and system check process, allowing you to focus on doing your best on test day.
When will this happen?
- All new or rescheduled OET@Home® bookings made after 31 July, for test dates from 15 August onwards, will use the new OET Speaking Platform. This will first apply to candidates booking OET@Home®, with OET Test on Computer candidates to follow shortly after.
